ABOUT US

STEM Initiative for Girls was started in 2016 by some ladies who attended an all-girls school in Nigeria. The organization provides after school Math tutoring for girls to prepare them for a career in the sciences. The very first of such classes started in January 2017 in a Nigerian secondary school. The class is a small class of 20 girls provided with textbooks, calculators, notebooks, math sets and all other support required to successfully capture the interest of the girls.

Current members are located in the following countries: Nigeria, UK, USA and Canada.
